3M™ 4932 VHB™ (Very High Bond) Tape is a 25 mil white acrylic foam tape with a low-surface-energy (LSE) adhesive system engineered to grip difficult substrates — including polypropylene, polystyrene, and powder-coated or coated metals — where standard adhesives typically fail to achieve reliable bond strength.

The LSE adhesive makes this tape well suited for automotive trim attachment, appliance assembly, signage mounting, and electronics enclosure fabrication, particularly where plastic housings or coated metal panels are involved. It is a practical alternative to rivets, screws, spot welds, and liquid adhesives in both production and maintenance environments.

The acrylic foam core is backed with a kraft paper liner and resists moisture, solvents, and UV exposure across a service temperature range of -40°F to 160°F. Each roll measures 1 inch wide by 5 yards long and is sold as a single unit.
