3M Safety-Walk Series 510 is a 36 mil pressure-sensitive adhesive-backed aluminum film tape engineered to deliver traction on surfaces where flat anti-slip products lose contact. The conformable aluminum film wraps around corners, bridges rivet heads and screw heads, and adheres fully to contoured profiles such as diamond plate, grating, and corrugated metal.
Series 510 is well suited for industrial facilities, warehouses, shipyards, and construction sites where workers regularly cross uneven or textured walking surfaces. Common installation points include loading ramps, platform edges, dock levelers, ladder rungs, and stair nosings — anywhere slip resistance is required without mechanical fastening.
Each roll measures 2 inches wide by 60 feet long. The tape is black and sold by the case containing 2 rolls, yielding approximately 120 square feet of coverage per case. No special tools are required for installation; the pressure-sensitive backing adheres on contact with clean, dry surfaces.
